Question 1995 DIsco with overheating

I have a 1995 Disco that was blowing out a lot of smoke and would evaporate anti freeze...
I fixed the problem with a radiator seal solution that i poured into the radiator..
Now the problem is that the temp gauge is normal yet after i shut the truck off after a half hour drive, I pop the hood and the engine is burning up??

I think the engine might be over heating but the truck doesn't know it....
Any suggestions??

I wouldn't say you "fixed" the problem with some magic juice.

What do you mean the engine is burning up? Is the collant boiling over or does the motor just feel hot?

Check your thermostat it might be stuck, or your fan might not be kicking on. What did the temp guage read? And if this half hour drive was at highway speed you probably would'nt see as severe of temp. increase if the fan isn't working properly as you would have in normal around town driving that is interupted with the usual stop signs, red lights, and old people and soccer moms taking three hours to execute a right hand turn.

You screwed up your truck buy using the head gasket in a bottle fix-it stuff.
Now you need a $700 radiator, head gaskets still and maybe a new engine because it is a all aluminum engine and they do not take well to overheating.
I realize times are tough and money it tight, but now you are screwed.
That head gasket in a bottle stuff will clog your radiator 90% of the time.

Here is what you need to do, flush the entire cooling system with water, and then with a off the shelf cooling system flush.
Then refill with plain water and see if the truck still overheats.
Let us know if it does and then we can go from there.
