Jeep guys need them. Landrovers are engineered to get full articulation with sway bars in place. Of course once people start swapping in aftermarket springs that doesn't always work any more.

Problem is usually with a 2inch lift the rear sway bar link will rotate and cause the RRC/D1 to sit with one side up and one side down. My 98 LSE D1 would always do it at this one gas station I used to visit often. It got to be a PITA. My specifically setup D1 for off road use = no F/R sway bars at all and I've got used to how it handles. I don't drive it all fast n furious but without em it certainly helps get the most out of my setup.
