1996 disco cruise control problem

Hi guys I have just bought a 1996 Disco V8 LPG great car but the cruise control is not working, the cruise control switch doesn't even light up...me knowing diddley about this am wondering if you guys have any ideas where i should start looking ?

I posted a couple guides to fixing this. You'll have to search back though as I'm not sure where exactly they are.

Would advise start with download of the RAVE, which will give you the shop and electrical manual.
