1996 Discovery SE7 - Service Engine Light

It is located in the passages footwell behind access panel on the right. Red box will be clipped on the body. Unplug the wall and all is well

No reason to keep that silly box anymore the battery is almost certainly dead inside the TRW box. Just unplug it and forget about it. The Service Engine Light will still show up when you do a key cycle, but it will go out and never come on.

I actually opted to do the reset on it through the small hole on the relay. Worked a charm!
