1997 D1 No Go
I had bought this truck a few weeks back and is was not running, I fixed the sending unit wiring and it ran but had a slight miss. There was a lot of undercoating in the engine bay so I decided to pressure wash it before I replaced the plugsand wires and clean he TB.Because there was a slight miss in the motor . Of course after the wash it would not start, and right away it sounded dry of fuel ,there was no squirt from the rail valve .I checked the relays on the right they were all hanging out. so it was hard to know what was what . I did determine that there were two that clicked when the ignition was advanced a green one and a yellow one. I check them all and one black one was full of water and it had two very large tangs on it it was very corroded inside. I had my wife turn the car on to see if there was a click from the fuel relay on the RHS shock tower, I did feel a weak click a few times and it is a water tight unit is it not. I also had her turn the key on and I check to see if there was power getting to the pump and there was not. Then I powered the pump from another source and the truck fired up . I read the manual but it is hard to determine exactly which relay is which, the only odd one is green . Any ideas where I should go from here. Thanks
