You want fuel injection clamps. Not just worm drive hose clamps. And be careful they aren't touching any of the bare contacts.

If it is Pre-AEL, you can get a ProLine Fuel Pump Assy from Rovers North for a hundred bucks. I recommend this over just replacing the internal pump.

Notice that the assembly does slide up and down the rails inside. That is why the plastic hoses are made like they are. The plastic top of mine leaked requiring total replacement.

Please see attached pages from the RAVE shop manual, under emissions. They are two similar systems that use different parts and control signals. There are physical drawings of the various parts, easy to see, and the tag and numbers asscociated with the model change over.

One quick way to confirm is the shape of the Charcoal Cannister. The AEL has a rectangular cannister.

The Regular (also called Pre-AEL) has a round charcoal cannister. The charcoal cannister sits behind the pax headlight under the hood for those who don't know it yet.

Default Got it running....

Thanks to all the advice and shared knowledge, brought 1997 Disco from pretty dead vehicle to pretty running vehicle... Special Thanks to pinkytoe69 (for the fuel pump), Lincoln @ roverbones.net for couple boxes of parts (look him up, he was very helpful), Savannah Buzz, antichrist, Danny Lee 97 Disco and everyone else for their help...
