Default 4WD issues

Hey guys ive got a question. I jacked up my D1 to look for some noise issues and i realized the when i spin one of my tires they both spin. Is that right??? or does that mean my 4WD is engaged.
Ive had issues with the truck feeling like it was in 4WD.

I assume we're talking about two wheels on the same axle? Do they spin opposite directions? They should. They should only spin the same direction if you have a rear differential locker and its engaged. Lockers didn't come stock on a truck.

A Disco is always in 4WD you do not have an option to disengage it.

The grinding could just be brakes.

The grinding could also be a busted bearing... at least that's what was causing the grinding on mine.

Pulled the hub off and all the bearings just fell out. Good luck with yours =)
