My 1995 Disco I leaks oil like that was the purpose for which it was designed. Oil is covering everything from front of the block all the way to the transmission. It is completely saturated. I'm thinking main seal but I'm not sure. Any ideas? There is too much oil coverage to spot the leak visually.

 

The only way you will ever find the source is if you clean everything off so there is no oil anywhere, start it up and watch.

 

Start by tightening your valve cover bolts.
