95 Disco Oil leaking and burning
My 1995 Disco is leaking oil.
Had the valve cover gasket replaced.
Installed a new pcv kit that stopped the oil from pulling through the exhaust system.
I also have new plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor button, and ignition coil.
Now oil is leaking against the rear wall of the engine compartment and smoke is pouring out from under the hood as oil burns.
My regular mechanic is telling me the oil is leaking from the rear seal at the bell housing and is being thrown back against the wall from there.
My skills under the hood are basic at best.
I am going to take it to a rover mechanic to see what is really wrong once I find one but if I am missing something simple I would love to know.

That is very possible that your rear main seal is leaking.
I have had great luck with White Shepard oil stop leak and seal conditioner.

It is expensive but it works, the down side is you MUST drive for at least a hour for it to work properly.
If it is your rear main seal leaking you need to remove the transmission to replace it.
