95 disco - seating new injectors?
I am replacing the injectors in a 95 and can not get them to seat and not leak - is there a trick? The O ring going into the rail seems to be my trouble spot, the retaining clip is snaping in nicely but on 3 tries I have had at least 1 leak each time
any help is appreciated

Mine did not come apart easily, it's the combination of the injectors are at an angle in the rail and the studs that the rail bolts to are at a right angle to the rail it takes some wiggeling and working all 4 corners a little at a time. I did inspect all my o rings late last night (after the seahawks beat up the broncos) and 4 out the top 8 had tears in them from my multiple installations. I think the trick is to put them into the rail first ( like the Rave says to do) and then ease them into the cylinders.
Yes - the cups are not in great shape I a going to try and clean them out today, now I am having trouble finding replacement o rings, I really make things hard on myself sometimes
Also when I first put mine back together after headgaskets, I couldnt figure out why fuel was shooting out after I put it back together. I later found out that there needs to be a flat rubber washer inside the rail and then an o-ring on each end of the injector.
I would also follow the recommendation of installing the injectors into the rail, and then setting the rail on the engine. I used a little motor oil to get the injectors into the rail because it was pretty tight.
I ran into this problem when I put my rail on my 95 together wrong. I found a set of different sized o-rings for fuel from autozone. They are brown, I am not sure on the part number.

The ones you found at auto zone are they just slightly smaller than the originals, there were no flat rubber washers in the cups when the old ones came out, where did you see that they are needed
