Land Rover lists no such part. Sounds like something someone added for some reason

 

The flat rubber washers came with my headgasket kit for a 95' from Atlantic British. I assumed thats where they went because before i put them in the drivers side shot fuel out like crazy.

Is there supposed to be one or two o-rings at the top where the injector meets the rail? When I used one it shot out fuel, when I put that rubber flat washer in the rail and then the injector with o-ring, it stopped the leaks?

Tylor I think if there is room to put a flat washer above the injector then you are not seating them all the way in, I just re-did mine with napa o-rings part #2-12093 and in order to get the retaining clip on in the lowest groove on the injector I had to really seat the injectors down snug to the bottom of the cup, it definatly worked better to put the injectors into the rail firswt then into the manifold. So now no leaks but still the random hard start.
