The 95's Ticking engine, low oil pressure?

Don't run it anymore until you drop the pan.

Alrighty, Dropped the pan, there was some flaking in there from past builtup, didn't really look like it was enough to be plugging the pickup. Took off the pickup and cleaned it with mineral oil. Took off the oil filter, and both lines to the oiler, replaced the o rings on both those hard lines. refilled the filter with new 15-40 rotella and got it back on, then the rain hit. So have to wait for a bit till I get a clear spot to get the oil pan back on. Then will refill the system and give it a test to see if it helped any. If not, whats the next step? bad oil pump?

On the O ring for the pickup tube, I don't see one. Just the gasket that between it and the block. Should there be an o ring in there also?

So, no joy on that work. Tick still there. a little less but there. Low oil light is coming on when the truck drops down to idle.

So, guessing its the oil pump itself.
