97 D1 key fob

D1 ECU with alarm replaced, now the key fob stopped working. Local tech shop did the change out, you think they missed programming the key fob? It was working before the repair was made. Any ideas appreciated.

Usually if the two are already paired it should work when your swipe both of them into a another vehicle.
HawkEye and a few very limited scanners that pair the FOB to the ECU
