I would get more quotes from other shops, that one sounds really high compared to what others have reported on here. Try to find either a place that does work on large trucks and farm equipment or a small independent shop that has been around a long time for a more reasonable price.
Also be sure the separate cooler lines are clear.

Both shops I talked to are independent and have been around a long time so I'm not sure where else would be cheaper. One guy was $5 cheaper
The guy I worked with was very helpful though, even if his quote was high. In the end he pressure washed it, pressure tested it, flushed and flow tested it, and blew it out with compressed air for $29. He said it was in good condition and wasn't in dire need of a rodding, so I decided to take it home.
Now that it's clean I'll either keep it, or try to sell it and get a new shiny one

Save your money on the new one at this point. This one may do just fine, if flow test was OK. You unit has a tranny cooler (driver side) and oil cooler (battery side). Be sure both of those pass air through with no problem, a restricted oil cooler is an engine killer. If you have the plastic plug in the top, remove it and replace with a brass one (order on line to keep from using plain old NPT, it is a little different). Shine light inside and look and ends of the few radiator tubes (horizontal) that you can see, if not crusty is a good sign.
You have a lot more things that need attention before radiator, and it is a piece of cake.

Yeah if it test good, should be fine.
Mine has a separate transmission cooler that is a small unit up front behind the grille. It is not part of the radiator. I did have to replace one of the lines on it when I first got it due toa pinhole leak that sprayed into the front driver's side wheel well and had me looking for a power steering leak until I got underneath with a good light with it running. You could see the spray coming from the pinhole near the metal end.
Don't they all have that?
