I want to know what is that piece called that is in the shifter console plastic that slides when you shift mine is broken.

 

I have seen it called the graphic film, if you are talking about the piece with P R N etc...

I need to replace mine as it is ripped. I spilled a Coke in the wimpy in dash cup holder and it gummed up the sliding mechanism and shorted out the indicator bulbs, that was like 6 years ago. I finally have enough parts( I have 3 sets from parting out cars) and know how to do it.
