While out and about for the holidays, I ran roughly 5 errands yesterday and by the 5th start she did not want to turn? The battery was bought new in August(interstate battery).

Any thoughts??

No not maintenance free.

 

First of all, should have installed an 800 CCA or above battery.
At this point your battery is dead, need to either charge or jump it and take the truck down to a local parts store where they can test the charging system for free. You have to be above 13.6 volts.

Looking for a recommedation on a new battery to power my gal...

 

I'd stick with interstate if you don't want to move to Optima. Just have them warranty the interstate and pay the difference to get a higher CCA rated battery.
