Default '98 disco 1 rear passenger brake light fix

Fixed this before I joined the forums but can't seem to find it again. But the problem I had was that the moment I switched the headlights on it would blow the fuse under the steering wheel. Again and again after going through a good bit I found that the problem was coming from the glove compartment. Apparently the light inside the glove compartment touches metal which in turn blows the fuse because that light and the rear passenger tail light are on the same circuit. So I simply took out the bulb and the retaining piece that holds the bulb. Ever since then I've had all of my lights. Doubt this will always be the cause but it's definitely something to check!
