Sorry bro, I know the Amigos are cool and all and I know EVERYbody wants them, but it is not even possible for you to have them :

The "3 Amigos" is the nickname for a specific fault on the DII where the HDC, TC and ABS lights are lit up. Since DI's don't have HDC or TC, there are no lights to be lit up, so, NO AMIGOS. You may have 3 yellow indicator lights lit up on your dash, but you'll have to come up with another name for those lights, because it's NOT the 3 Amigos.

Oh oh I see what your saying. I think I started calling my 3 dash lights (abs, srs and check engine) the "3 amigos" because I read a post way back with this term inappropriately used to describe the 3 lights illuminated typically on disco 1's. Well then kinda wish someone told me sooner!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bunch of turkeys's!

We are getting off topic though. About that range rover... I think this guy MAY be a BS scammer or something. On the phone his vocals sounded cloudy and unclear. He seemed very surprised when I told that "I" did all the work on the power steering system and the driveshaft... He did not seem to possess much if any information you would typical expect a Rover owner to possess. I also found a suspicious post on Craigslist in the same town, with the same miles same year but in the post he has no pictures and he calls it a discovery. I'm pretty sure that's his add.

1994 landrover discovery

These days its hard as hell to tell the difference between a scammer and a honest "clueless" owner!

yeah. I'd vote for clueless most of the time. I've seen them listed as Range Rover Discovery. I just search for "ROVER" now.

I'd just forget about this "deal" man. Guy sounds like a flake and an idiot so even if this was legit I wouldnt want any vehicle this guy has ever driven or worked on.

Yeah but shipping would kill you. You must have a really ugly butt as well.

I kinda like the RR. They were quite the ticket back then.

Personally I think you should slow down and learn more before jumping from the frying pan into the fire.

Doesn't the RR have Air Bag suspension? The famous leaky one.

At least with your DI you know what you got. I think the RR guy is trying to pull a fast one on you. Remember what they sday about a fool and his money.

Take your time and don't be in such a hurry to jump on the first Green Oval that you find.

At least make him let you drive it for a few days with a non committ basis and do not pay first and then regret it.
