where do you guys think i could find a trany? there arnt very many of these kicking around here?

otherwise...most junkyards are connected to others elsewhere....if they dont have one they probably can find one

 

Makes me think that I shouldn't wait too long for my tranny oil and filter change. Seems impossible to do however without getting the crossmember out of the way the exhaust line, or can you just loosen the pan and slide it out?

 

No you must remove the cross member and loosen the y-pipe.
You can have it done for around $250 at a shop.
