98 Disco tail light
I have a 98 D1 with the rear ac, this is the first time I've had to change the tail light. The driver side light is wedged in there with the rear ac unit and the space is big enough for a baby's hand, definitely not my thick paws. Its impossible to grasp the light bulb socket and nearly impossible to get at the wingnut in order to take the whole housing off.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

yes ! it's a PITA !!! almost impossible to get at the bulbs...."easier" to remove the light assy....mine was held in with 2 8mm nuts ( 5/16" will do ) you may need a deep well socket. I have heard that some were installed with wing-nuts which would be way easier. good luck...and change all the bulbs there while you're at it...
So… got the housing off via my wife's ability to turn the top wingnut, changed all the bulbs, got the housing back in and tightened the bottom wingnut, she claims she can't get the top one back on.
So I'm gonna roll with one for now, it's super dry out here and I don't think I'll be getting it wet anytime soon, hopefully she feels like trying again
