ABS light/ ZZZ noise

Default ABS light/ ZZZ noise

I have a 1994 disco, 122,xxx, today my ABS light came on and stayed on during stop n go trafficd and now she is making this zzz noise... Any ideas as to whats going on, brakes are fine, never had an issue with her till now? Thanks in advance for all feedback/ help.

That write up is more for the D2's ABS.

When did you last change your brake fluid and how often? Dirty/burned brake fluid will turn to acid and play hell with you. If you were lucky and you did a 3 to 4 pint DOR 4 brake flush, you might free up the noisy valve.

You either have a bad wheel speed sensor or your ABS modulator is going bad, common problem on DI's just because of the age.

Follow the link that OKDGuy posted and then tell us what the problem is and we can help you from there.

I beg to differ, sir. It is specifically for D1's. Tried on D1's and works for D1's. No ABS Amigo needed, and it clears the codes
