94 Disco

This is an old subject but I have searched for a thread related to it and nothing comes up. I want to install switch that will bypass the AC Condenser fans in order to turn them on manually and leave them running.
Can anybody direct me?

Find the positive wire running to both the fans (between the battery and headlight and runs up beteween the radiator and a/c condenser). Cut it and add a 30a relay controlled by a lighted switch in the cab. Or you can use a wire that is only on when the ignition is on so you won't forget to turn it off and come out to a deat battery.

 

on th '94-'95s the fans are also controlled by a switch part #PRC3505 which is located near the top of the intake manifold ....just behind the alternator....it should be easy to wire in your manual switch from there ( It's on my to do list for my '95....lol)
