Finally got around to buying and installing the rear seatbelt anchors after rear floor repair on my disco and realized there is no anchor to attach the top tether for my daughter's forward facing car seat. Does anyone know if there are provisions for one, maybe in the back of the seat that I could add a retrofit kit to? I can't be the only one who's wanted to properly fit a forward facing car seat into one of these vehicles.

Something like this, though obviously that setup wouldn't work in a vehicle like a disco. When the kid seta is facing forward you need the top tether to keep it flipping forward in the case of a collision. Disco 2s after about 2001 had them in the seat backs but there are no provisions for such to be added on the disco 1s.

At any rate I think I've come up with my solution even if it's not LR authorized.
