That was the volvo fan I'm assuming? Did it not clear the water pump pulley or did it hit somewhere else?

Yup Volvo fan, motor would not clear the water pump or fan boss, guess you need a slim fan, either way new gas is in and 180* stat from part number Antichrist posted, it does cross to an auto zone stat with jiggle vent

Just took mine back out today. It was about 80 here today and it let the coolant get up to 220 while sitting in heavy traffic. I could probably fool with it more to make it better, but I just don't have the time now. I left all the controls, so I could put it back in. It may just end up being a winter fan. Back to old noisy clutch fan.

You know I have even considered scrounging hood louvers from other vehicles and cutting them in to let heat out but think it would end up ruining something cause everything would be soaked every time it rains

Post #27 he bought a 16" pro comp and the Hayden adjustable temp harness kit
