Looking for advice on the easiest routing of a single wire from on top of the dash to the engine compartment.

Need to run a wire from a dash-mounted solar panel to the battery (to trickle charge).

Plan A is to go across the dash to the passenger side, down to glove box or fuses on that side in the footwell, and find whatever hole that wiring comes through.

But welcome any tips to avoid problems.

Drivers side, below the brake booster. There's a grommet there with a bunch of wires going through it and its easy to get to. Should be real easy to run multiple new wires through it if needed.
