Default 'After' photos.

Well guys thanks in large part to your help she's now a good runner and not too bad looking either. I've been all over this rig, top to bottom and front to back...been quite the journey.

I only put four photos in but check out my album for a before and after look at my $300 jewel. Thanks...Matt

Impressive. Now you can start on the rust abatement of the floor and some camo paint for the hood and roof. This become the offspring's high school truck soon?

Yeah, she's sure easy to spot in the parking lot with that color!

Oh, my boy (11) already has big plans for it... ;-)

Quite the find, looks cleaner than mine in the engine bay and underneath. Way less grease and oil. I'm assuming you cleaned that up and replaced some seals?

Did a head gasket job and a lot of disassembly/cleaning. The valve covers were both leaking slightly but the main culprit underneath was the leaking oil cooler line. That was leaking at about 1-2 drops every few seconds!

All that really leaks now are the swivel ***** (after topping off) and the transfer case. Everything else is just a drop here and there.

Now that you mention it, I'm pretty sure my oil cooler line leaks a bit too. More like a couple drops an hour though. I only have to add oil every two weeks. Everything under there has a nice oil-caked wrinkle texture. I prefer to think of it as active rust prevention.
