Ah, the joys of window seal replacement...
So my new rear window seals came in for British Atlantic (just over $100 for both sides shipped to the house). Given it has been raining cats and dogs here in Tennessee I figured I would change them last night between the storms. I should make it know that I have installed many a Volkswagen windshield with a similar style seal. So after getting the first window off I placed the seal on the window, placed a string around the inner seal lip and had my son hold it up against where it goes. the rest of the story involves words I can't type here, and many different plastic body panel tools. Needless to say it start raining before we were done and I only got one seal done. However, it does look great and no longer leaks on that side. I guess I will do the other on today...

For some silly reason, the passenger side tends to go easier than the drivers...
Good luck!! Oh, and if you were not using a silicon spray lube, or some liquid soap, try it on the next one!!
It only took me about 15 minutes to replace mine...and the $7 Double Suction Cup holder for the glass from Harbor Freight was BRILLIANT!!
