Has anyone been successful with removing the alarm unit completely? I can bypass the starter but, can the ignition system(ECM) be bypass across the alarm unit. I have two Disco 1's immobilized, a 99(problem in previous comment) and a 96. The 96 may be a bigger problem due to it being used to build a mid engine buggy. I have mounted the engine and reattached the wiring harness but, now it is immobilized, starter, fuel or ignition system are not working. I have spent many hours reading through Disco 1 manuals and troubleshooting manuals and haven't found the answer that I'm looking for. I will appreciate any help.
