Any pictures of that junction? The rear hard line going to the soft line? Maybe something was repaired along the life of this thing and I'm missing a piece?

I can take a pic of the rear hard lines where it goes into the junction and at the front. The junction under the firewall for the rear brake lines is also bubble. I just pulled off the abs modulator and every line in that area is bubble.

Just the rear, I verified the engine side are bubble, and am replacing from the ABS mod back. I just can't figure out how every picture of the replacement rubber hose I see is male bubble on the frame side... I HAVE to be missing something.

"I just can't figure out how every picture of the replacement rubber hose I see is male bubble on the frame side" That part of the hose is correct. The only thing you are missing is a HARD LINE with a Double Inverted Flare and a M10x1.0 FEMALE Tube Nut.

I agree about AB. Bought tons of parts with no issues, but when there's a mistake or issue, time stops moving. Been screwing with them for over (2) months on a bad MAF they said they would warranty. Beginning to think that 1 year warranty is simply lip service.

YES. That is it, thank you. I was searching every rover site and auto parts site and couldn't find any pictures like that. The rear hose is correct too. I'll have to give them a call Monday morning. my hard line from AB is with the correct fitting but bubble flare, theyll also be getting a call.

I would also highly recommend paragon performance for brake lines. They gave a forum discount and the lines are super nice. You pick the jacket color and I think they do custom lengths

thanks for the extra pics dude.. it helps to know i'm not crazy like AB made me out to be.

just got off the phone with roversnorth, i have two genuine LR rear brake hoses and a junction set to ship monday. the guy on the phone went back to the warehouse and verified the ends on the hose for me and they are correct. he said he used to stock the proline/allmakes rear hoses but no longer does... and he thinks the reason they no longer do is probably bc of the issue i told him i was having. i'm gonna "rent" a brake line flaring tool from the parts store, cut and re-flare my hard line, and return the AB hoses.

cant wait to get this thing back on the road. what an ordeal.
