Default Alternator retrofit??

Hi everyone,
I am searching for the best option (good and cheap) replacement for my noisy alternator. Is it possible to retrofit the 130 amp alternator from the Disco 2 into the Disco 1. So far I have not been able to find any information if itle 's possible or not.
The part number in question is LR part # ERR6413
Bosch part # 0-123-510-073

Thank in advance for your help.

Consider getting quote for carry in service at local small alternator / starter shop. Other than the Rangie or another D1 not a lot at the salvage yard that will bolt right on. If you buy reman from parts store chain get one with lifetime waranty, they don't last long and have high failure rate.
