Well i just bought a 120 amp alt from Will Tillery - I'll post up the information when it gets here.

i ended up putting the 120a P38 alt into mine this weekend, fit exactly like the 100a i removed, you should have no issues

Good deal - I bought mine from Tillery and he said it was for a D1 so I'm sure it will work fine. Mine isnt bad it's just making a whining noise that's driving me crazy. And I figure 120 amps why not?

exactly the problem i was having... the bearings were getting worse and worse it was howling pretty bad. charged fine though haha

Yea same I was waiting for a deal to come up on a 120amp one and $75 is totally worth it

I just finishes installing mine, it is a perfect fit as others have noted already. It's charging my two batteries just fine.
I took apart the old one, and to mys surprise the bearings were fine, it was the shaft that was worn out!! Strange...
