Default Another Flasher Relay Clicking Thread

So I have read lots of forums about the clicking flasher relay, but have not been able to solve my problem yet and do not want to buy the very expensive new relay if it wont fix my issue. My flasher relay clicks constantly in ACC or while engine on, EXCEPT when i put the turn signals or hazards on, then it slows to a normal speed and clicks like it should. No idea why it constantly clicks. Also, in typical rover fashion, it changes behaviour based on the day. Some days it is intermittent, some days constant. Sometimes it will stop randomly, then start again, no reason or changes that would allow me to figure it out. All bulbs are halogen and working as they should. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Grab a cheaper EP-26 flasher relay from the local auto parts store, make a short little harness for it and swap it in. May just have a bad relay in the system.

It ended up going away on its own. Sometimes these cars break themselves, sometimes they fix themselves...
