Hahaha. Dammit. Double missed opportunity. I won't be home till about seven or so tonight but when I get home I'll pop the hood and show you how to get after it with a few photos. I'll run you a tab haha. Call it an IOU.

I am just finishing up a fresh bottle of "Mr. Jack's 160th Birthday Special". Same as Gentleman Jack but a few dollars cheaper. Very smooth sipppin whiskey. I got one of those dorm size refrigerators I use as a nightstand beside my bed. The bottle fits right in the little freezer and keeps it just right for sippin straight from the bottle.

ok, four bolts, two on the passenger side (one on either side of the coil pack itself) and two on the driver side both in front (motor side) of the coil pack itself.

Passenger front attached to the fuel rail, right by the back injector: Once you get the nut off, keep screwing, i found the easiest way to get the coil pack out is to actually take this post out (it screws right out)

Passenger rear: Immediately behind the coil pack to the outside of the first plug

Driver Front (both are located here, fairly easy relative to the passenger side)

Here's the one nearer to coil pack

The other one, i did a bad job of showing, its under that vacuum hose on and the injector wire it looks like

I respect you for this.

Man that is very touching. I appreciate knowing that someone on here has the courage to admit openly that they respect me, and I did not even have to bribe him to get him to say that. That is awesome.

When I do get everything taken care of on it and around the house for my grandkids, I plan to take the Wonderful Old Lady I have on an extended Road Trip. We look forward to partying with you in Central Florida after we Meander Down The Eastern Seaboard.

The picture are great, I just need to rig a hoist or something comfortable to get in position to get them out. Straddling the front of the Discovery looks like two Rhinos MATING.

What a damn maintenance nightmare. Makes me appreciate the military aircraft I worked on that much more, at least they gave you access panels for most equipment you needed to get to.

Guess i'll go mate with the beast and "GITERDONE"

Thanks to all of you helpful souls.

Lots of luck. I'm still relatively spry at 26 andlaying over top the motor going after that coil pack STILL sucks. I think 1/4 drive is easiest btw.

Well I will be doing the O2's spark plugs, oil change, and a few other various goodies. Need a big fire, fresh meat, more whiskey, cold beer and where the hell are those dancing girls when you need them.

A really tall young thing that could hike up over the fender and reach those nuts would be nice to have around for times like this. That would make this a fun job.

We need to start a new kind of garage with some sweet things doing the work on the cars while we dirty old bastards sit back, sip whiskey and enjoy the show. That would be better than pole dancing on a small stage in a dark nasty smelly bar anyday. What do you guys think, kind of like a Hooter's version of a shop. I think it would be a good thing..............Franchise it as well.

And of course we could have a big Mud Pit area for testing the Diff Lock....

There was a bar in Ohio we used to frequent that had topless beach volleyball. For a donation you got to play volleyball with the girls on a outdoor play area that was surrounded by a nice high wall.... and plenty of water fountains to cool off in.
