Default Another try at it

I have a 1997 D1.... been a challenge for a while now but needing ideas on what might be the issue on this thing.

The vehicle cranks and idles as it should. When given it gas, it pops and seems to misfire with it coming back up through the air filter box.

It did have a few codes (p1193, P0340, p1316) but after I've done some things and cleared the codes, no codes yet issue still exist.

I have.... replaced all plugs with NGK plugs, new kingsboro wires, new coil pack, new front and rear o2 sensors, crank sensor fairly new, catalytic converter replaced maybe 40k miles ago, rebuilt the fuel pump a year ago as well as fuel filter. I have seafoamed the engine as well.

I am unsure of the octane level in tank as was gonna sell vehicle to a friend only to get it back.

I did notice at one time when I went over a water puddle the vehicle would act the same, popping through the intake.

I just noticed the connector to a sensor on the engine block, drivers side and green connector, has its bare wire exposed next to the connector. I am unsure even what this sensor is... maybe knock sensor???

Alright, who is a magician and might be able to get me back on the road??

Many thanks ahead of time

Default Solved

Poor wires on crankshaft sensor and knock sensor... fixed wires and running smooth.
