Help with Missfires
Hello, I'v been battling missfires in wet conditions for about 6 months now. I have replaced the coils, spark plug wires and plugs. During rain or very very foggy conditions my D1 will bog and sputter, but will idle quite smoothly. It will occasionally throw these codes while it's happening 0300 p1316 p0340. When the air is dry she runs well. What else should I be looking into?
I bought kingsbourne 8mm about two years ago and just replaced them with some super cheap AutoZone wires. The kingsbourne wires completely cracked and burned out. Could the new cheap AutoZone wires be the current cause?

Sounds like wires, have you wet the engine and watched it run in the dark? You may see a lite show underhood, are the wires run in the clips?
The other reason for miss fire is the crank sensor and harness, check it , I had this problem at rotr this year
Btw I run the magnacore wires

Along with the crank sensor check the cam sensor wires and connector since the p0340 points directly at it (circuit malfunction). Obviously the other two codes are a consequence of the misfires.
Yes, I am certainly relieved and would not have thought to check the harness had it not been for you guys. The issue deteriorated so badly that she would only allow me to go about 5mph wet or dry and ultimately threw just the 0340. Now on to rebuilding the hubs.
