BTW those Dakota tires are really nice and there have been many that give them praise. But, for me...."Dakota"....rather have the "Discoverer"...lol

So, that means a 20mm wider tire? But not taller? Why do I want those. Does it involve cutting or changing anything? Let me start trying to find pics....
No taller not wider. You shouldnt go any wider with a stock 7" wide wheel anyway

OK...wheel's let's see the side pic. I know you've shown it elsewhere but humor me.....but that's gonna cost me at least $300 plus more and they're not gonna ship them to PR for free.

OK, Mike says I lose mpg's. More with the 265's than the 245. And even more with the lift. Adds up. Does it stop me...probably not.

Boss says I lose torque and hp and should consider new gears to offset.

I'm not convinced yet for 20mm width. For a poser like me the 245's look the same at the side, require no adjustments have better torque/hp.

Rebuttal?

See that's confusing to me. the 16 is the height (x2) no? i thought the width was the 245/265...just read the explanation...need to go back and look.

Just the name on the side wall....just don't like the name "Dakota" for a tire.

245 is the width of the tread in mm. 75 is the % of the width that makes the height of the sidewall. 16 is the wheel(rim) diameter in inches.

So it would be a 245mm wide tread, 183.75mm tall sidewall mountable on 16inch wheels. The total height would be 30.5inches tall. The manufacture, however probably has some slightly different values based on their measurements.
