Anybody tried putting HHO on a Disco?

Have you guys had experience with this to know that it is a scam and doesn't work on any other engine? Just wondering how you are experts already? Between the two of you know-it-alls, you have a grand total of 60 posts. I'd really rather not be bothered with mere opinions from people with no first-hand experience on the topic.

I played with it for a bit, and found that you couldn't produce enough on demand to run a motor exclusively on HHO, but as an additive, you might see some improvements in MPG and cleaning out the motor.
I even built a generator with a pwm power supply. I played with a 1986 GMC Jimmy (v6 and no electronics) but it didn't do much except needed constant tuning to make it run. I could get the idle to work good, but not the top end, or the top end but no idle. I am tempted to play with some of the latest developments, but been too busy.
It would be interesting to try it on a Disco, lots of room in there....

Yes the intent is to suppliment gasoline/air mixture with hydrogen, making the fuel burn much more efficiently and thoroughly. Thereby raising the miles per gallon (average goal is about a 35% increase in MPG).
There have been some good advancements in output by the HHO generators lately and with electronics like VOLO the car's computer can be tricked to compensate for the extra oxygen flowing thru. The result is a much cleaner burn which not only saves on your gas bill, but is better for the environment too. I've also heard that engines run smoother, have more power, and run cooler as side benefits.
I think full kits these days can be obtained for around $500 for fuel injected vehicles (which also includes the VOLO electronics). Some even have a money-back gaurantee. Kits for carburated vehicles are even less because the electronics part is not necessary.
I was just curious if anyone had successfully implemented one of these on the Disco.

I've heard that even late model cars only burn less than half of the fuel that engine is supplied because gasoline does not burn efficiently and the unburned fuel goes out the tail-pipe.
After watching this guy burning different fuels in a small engine with a clear head, I can believe that. Watch at the 2:00 mark where he uses alcohol as a fuel:
