Default anyone in Nj or close want to help with full stereo install?

I've read up a bot on this and want to redo the entire stereo in my 96. Plans arr new head unit, bypass factory amp and run new cables directly to the speakers. My Disco also has the tweeters on the pillars and I'd like to keep those if possible. I also have an after market sub/amp I'd like to install. I'm looking for someone who's fone this before to lend a hand. We can even take a truck load of photos and ill make a full write-up on our work. Any takers?? Pm me

I don't know of a shop to help with full stereo install in southern NJ or anywhere in NJ. But, I do drive passed a place on Levick St in Philadelphia.

I don't know abt the quality of work done there, just that interesting projects extend from the garage out into the street. It's entertainment while stopped at traffic light !

If you want the name, I'll PM it to you. I don't want to post name here b/c I can't personally give a reference for the shop, good or bad. Never been inside.

Thanks, trying to stay away from a shop. I'd rather do it myself (with help) so I know how to do it in the future..so I can help others

I agree, but shops are sometimes good to visit. You see some innovative ideas, and then can implement them yourself. Most good shops are so backed up; they can't possibly service all the business/customers in our area, even if they tried. Some don't mind helping you to DIY b/c it can lead to a good referral.

I'll ask around for you, though. Engineering students at our State colleges might have ideas. I'll PM you if any takers.
