It's a sensor wire for a system that doesn't exist on the 95. Cutting it off was the right thing to do.

What about your hub bearings, have they been repacked lately?

The reason I ask is that it is a good time to consider that since you have it all exposed when you replace the pads.

No I haven't. Hmm weird thing.
I replaced the Pads (No Problem)
I cleaned the throttle body. (All I did was spray around the metal things that says 3.9L and inside the plenum. (The thing with the metal circle inside) I moved the metal circle inside the plenum up with the assembly that moves it and I sprayed inside. I started it up with some issues but I heard that was supposed to happen. Started up a little later and I drove it around.
Next I put a bottle of SeaFoam in the gas tank. I haven't done the intake vacuum tube thing because I did not have time.
Next I drove to church and on the way back my Check Engine light went on! What did I do? The only thing I could think of was the MAF sensor, but I put that back on with the metal clip! Any ideas?

its normal to get a CEL after spraying cleaner into the plenum (which you shouldnt do because you can hydrolock the engine), just spray cleaner on to a rag and wipe it clean. don't bother putting seafoam in the gas tank its a waste of money. instead use something like BG 44k. use the seafoam for the induction cleaning. do you have an ODB2 reader? you need to clear the codes.

I already put seafoam in the gas tank..

No I have not done the induction cleaning. I can't find the vacuum line for a 1995 Land Rover Disco I. Can somebody take a picture and show me? I looked it up on RAVE but when you see the black and white simple pic compared with real life and all its mess it's kind of hard..

I have an OBD1 Connector though, not an OBD2.

You don't need a code reader for OBD1- there is a flash method-here ya go

I could not find a good pic for which hose to use for the induction cleaning. But look for a hose that connects on the passenger side valve cover and goes to the intake. Sould be a very short(<12")hose

I read on another thread about the ABS and I can use a paper clip?

I just don't know what the ABS relay is and I paper clip terminals in the blue connector right? (the DCL?)

For non-U.S. vehicles (not equipped with a fuel injection fault display), the Lucas diagnostic equipment, part number 60600965, is recommended for reading fault codes

I don't know what the data link connector looks like(I never worked on an obd-1), but I think they are referring to the obd-1 port

Rovers are British right, so I guess I need the diagnostic equipment.
Yeah I realized that, I edited my previous post but I guess i did it a little late.

New Questions:
I read the paper clip blink method. What does the ABS relay look like? Is it the green connector underneath the passenger dash? And Position II is the second click after you insert the key right?
