Default Auto Trans shift point question

Alright everyone, it may sound stupid but on your D1's, when does it shift into 2nd gear? Mine shifts at 10mph, no matter how hard or soft my foot is on the pedal. Just curious, thanks.

Oh man, I've never payed attention.
But the harder I press the "go" pedal the longer it holds each gear.

Yah, that's what I thought, seems like the other gears will hold but no matter what, 10mph is where it shifts to 2nd.

Install new shift springs if up shifts are too early during 1-2. Weak transmission valve body shift springs will cause early shift.

Could also be your kick down cable is out of adjustment. Check it with the rave manual.
