Check all your fuses, it sounds like your locks aren't working. The alarm is activated by the locks not the other way around.

It could also be a bad driver door lock actuator, if it is not sending the signal to the central locking system that the doors are locked then it will not arm the alarm.
But do like Tweak said first and check the fuse.

I checked the only fuse I found which had a label for door locks, and it's fine. I guess it's time to look somewhere else. Curious, where is the radio receiver for the remote located?

Yeah, that's what I meant by "somewhere else." I'm following along, I'm just moving slowly. Power locks working isn't a huge priority, but it would be nice.

Is the driver's door actuator the home for the radio that talks to the keyfob? That sounds odd at firts, but would actually quite beautifully simple.

It is possible the previous owner has done something to it as well. You may have to get inside the door and check things out.

I know the RAVE has all the info, have not had to get into that on mine. Did have to lube them with some spray made for lock lubing.

The drivers door lock controls all the other locks, if that door lock actuator is bad or missing then the other locks will not work.

The receiver for the remote is elsewhere in the truck.
