The guy who bought my truck that I didn't particularly want to sell recently called me and told me his wife wanted a more refined D2 and wanted to know if I wanted to buy it back. He took my rack and ARB bumper but the rest is exactly how I sold it to him. He never drove it. It has 8 more miles on it then when I sold it 8 months ago. I was covered in dust and fired right up. Brief test drive and I handed him the cash.

On the way home it promptly lost all power and began to run like complete crap. No power. Barely go over 5mph..emergency flashers going...it was a real hoot. Limped it home. Welcome back to Land Rovers.

 

Maybe he managed barely 8 miles out of it and his wife said "No go with this!"

When I hopefully next week re-sell the piece of junk I bought from the previous seller to him I trust he will also manage to sqeeze a few days starting out of it that I have been able to do since falling for his sweet talk about what a good runner it was. It is not even a bad runner. It does not even start, let alone run.

 

I told you that truck would come back.
