Everytime I shift between D and R I get a bang. It's not a clunk like something is loose. It's more like shifting into gear with my foot on the gas (minus the truck jumping to sudden acceleration). Driveshafts are aftermarket and rebuilt with Spicer UJs that are greased every 3k. There's no play in them at all. Anything I should be looking at? Is this normal?

There's slightly less of a bang when shifting from N to D or R. I've also got a whine that I think it's coming from the T case. Could they be related?

 

From what I've read it's the coupler between the trans and t-case. Splines get worn. I believe there's an updated coupler to fix the issue

 

Great. I'll look into it. I need to rule out transmission mounts as well.
