Bike Rack of Choice - 4 Bikes
Any 4-bike rack is going to be bulky. For me the only way to go is a hitch mounted rack. I just can't see putting 4 bikes on the roof and making a Disco even higher, not to mention they would be difficult to put up there and take down.
Mine swings DOWN.... but that doesn't work with a bike on it. The swing away would be great, but that would require me to spend money on a new one.
Haha, that's funny. I don't mind if my mtn bike gets scratches from being ridden, but scratches from transport or storage drives me nuts. So bikes touching or my bike touching the rack where not intended is a major NO-NO. I'm weird, I know.
When I was biking across New Zealand, we would sometimes put 6 bikes on a 2-bike rack. To minimize the rubbing, we would place inflated pushbike inner tubes between the bikes. Well, those of us that cared used inner tubes.
