Bleed Radiator
So I was wondering where the bleed screw is on the land rover discovery 1 to bleed air out of the cooling system? I tried to bleed it using the plastic screw on the too passenger side of the radiator and filled the expansion tank till it came out the radiator without bubbles. Worked, started up and heard a bunch of gurgles then it stopped and the engine was running really low rpm and almost sounded like stalling. What did I do wrong?

So I tried again, had the heat all the way on the fan on low and tried a few bubbles came out and then a solid flow. Cover the radiator screw and closed the expansion tank cover, and I am letting it sit. Should I start it right away or let it sit for a while, and I found out it does not need a flush all the coolant is clean and green. So that is good news.
just fill the thing up and leave the cap off. run until the thermostat opens and keep topping off.
shut it down and let it cool off and check the level again.
easy enough, you dont need a bleed screw...

The DI is super easy to bleed, like valvecover said, the heater must be on and the t-stat needs to open to get the air out.
The circulation of coolant pushes the air out, if it only has one place to escape that is where it will go, thats why you leave the cap off.
