Radiator Hose Bleed Valve

Radiator Hose Bleed Valve
I just finished replacing the water pump on my '99 Disco. What a pain getting the fan loose...
So after I got everything back to together and started to replace the fluid, I backed off the bleed screw in the upper hose and it came all of the way out. End of the plastic screw looks like it busted loose from something inside.
1. Do I now have a piece of plastic loose in the system?
2. If I replace with hose I can get quickly from NAPA (no bleed valve) how do I bleed the system?
I have ordered a new upper hose, complete with valve in T fitting, but it will not be here for 3-5 days. I'll have NAPA hose tomorrow to at least get me back on the road.
On a side note, I also ordered new front and rear O2 Sensors. Anything I should be aware of when replacing them?
Thanks!
Aaron
