Blown out rotors possibly from end float? Or Maybe something else?

You're welcome. I'm full of it......advice that is.

My mechanic let me use his shop press for the thrust ring, piece of cake. My mechanic is a really good guy (he's my son).

Probably the weight of the axle on the jack stands will prevent rotation, the only unbalance is the weight of the front of the differential and half the drive shaft. The trailing arms should also counter rotation a bit. There are tons of videos about Rovers on line. Two of my favorite presenters are Bear Mach Trailfitter's Toolbox videos, and Britannica Restorations Ltd (he's funny too). Sometimes I watch after I did a job to find out how I could have done better. Usually I watch prior to help me be more confident. Some Defender videos work for Discos, especially the axles. I watched Trailfitter's go through the A Frame overhaul, but have not had to do it myself. I have spent way too much time watching Land Rover videos...

I agree. Those videos are super helpful. And I also spend too much time watching them!

Oh I have watched those videos a bunch as well.
The Britannica guy will respond to emails if you hit him up? He’s the guy with the racoons right? Ha. He is a funny fellow.
