1) Took out both motors

2) Drilled out rivets and took out the motor gear that turns the window shut

3) Held onto it with a Vice Grip

4) Screwed and wound both sunroofs shut again

5) Works like magic

I suppose these sunroofs will never work again but I wasn't about to try to figure out why they stopped working in the first place, and it's going to rain soon here in Texas, so this was the best option for me!

 

I hope this helps someone that's trying to figure out how to close a broken or stuck sunroof

could have close the roofs with an allen wrench NO?

 

There is an emergency allen wrench to close the open sunroofs with access panel behind the button control. Just pull cover, insert allen and crank closed.
