Brake pads
I just don't trust Autozone branded products anymore for wear and performance. It will always be the last resort choice for me.
Danny-the second I think im getting out of something cheap you go and tell me something like that, idk if I can afford to pass that up. It's a shame bc I have a 15%off coupon for AB. Wish they were running that sale.
Vegas-way to complicate my decision! Haha. It was all cut and dry until you told me what I already knew, that autozone makes crappy stuff. Looks like I'll be doing some research.

Land Rover Discovery SP Performance Slotted Solid Front Rotors - T03-1314 by SP Performance
Slotted rotors are primarily for heat dissipation arent they? It says on the site they help fade and wear but I mean, honestly, by how much? My truck does MAYBE 5k miles a year and I don't do a lot of high speed cornering. Haha. Do you think slotted rotors are still justified? I'd be interested to hear why if so.
Slotted are not recommended for off-road, too many places for dirt and crap to reside, why would you need slotted, it ain't a race car you know. If it were a Porsche like I used to drive i would say go with the slotted, how would slotted be a benefit on a slow dancing pig in mud such as a Discovery in it's natural environment, really now.
Might as well lower it and put 22's on it and a big kicker bass system with neon underneath you know bro.
