Brake Pads Rattling

Default Brake Pads Rattling

Mainly the front left outboard pad. I can grab it and wiggle it about.
Touch pedal and it's quiet. Braking is fine.
Recently changed the front over to Defender vented. Do I need the wee clips like what's on the rears?

Those pins do not look right for that setup. Do they have the cotter pins (split pins) on the end furthest from the camera? Looks like the springs are not robust enough.

Kinda thought that as well.
Here's what I have, vented rotors (LR017952G), calipers (SEB500460/470), Ferodo (SFP000260F).
They work very good, just clacky.
Has hitch pins, not split.
